Abacus Lighting has launched its interactive CD-ROM which presents the UK-based firm's entire range of exterior lighting, brackets, columns and mast systems in a user-friendly and informative format.

"As essential tool for specifiers, the CD-ROM provides comprehensive product information with illustrative photographs, photometric diagrams and technical detail to enable customers to make informed decisions," says Jade Clark of Abacus Lighting. "To assist in planning lighting design schemes, the CD also contains photometric data for selective luminaries in the recognised TM-14 format.

"The CD-ROM has an autorun facility. A standardised viewing screen encourages familiarity along with clear commands that guide the user through the presentation and assist in locating specific information at a click of a button."

Examples of other areas covered by the presentation include a company profile, design guidelines from the Abacus Lighting Design Service; a glossary of lighting terms, detailed technical information covering all types of foundations and technical guidance on selecting high masts and columns.
