LK in marketing deal

LK luminaires are now being marketed internationally by Louis Poulsen under a sales and marketing accord.

The Danish firm will sell and market LK's popular Skot, Dock wall and bollard and Parc post luminaires in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, France, UK, the US, Australia and Japan, through its foreign subsidiaries, while its Direct Export department will be responsible for other markets throughout the world.

Elaborating on the features of these luminaires, a company spokesman says: ''The designs for these luminaires are based on maritime and industrial themes. And since they are similarly designed, they complement each other perfectly in both modern and classic surroundings.''

He continues: ''The Skot luminaire is available in wall and bollard versions, in two sizes, and in white, grey or graphite aluminium with clear or opal polycarbonate diffusers. The Dock wall and bollard luminaires come in white, natural or graphite aluminium with clear or opal polycarbonate diffusers, while Parc post is also available in white, natural or graphite aluminium with clear or opal polycarbonate diffusers.

Skot luminaires have been featured in a variety of projects and places: on Ellis Island in New York, at Lloyds' office in London, on the Danish Royal yacht Dannebrog and at the Chelsea Harbour in London.
